How do I search for a provider by name to schedule an appointment in the Tendo Android app?
When supported by your provider, you can search for a provider by name in the Tendo Android app and schedule an appointment.
Notes:
Appointment types and available appointment dates are determined and updated by your healthcare provider.
If an appointment cannot be scheduled via the app, the provider page asks you to contact your provider’s office via telephone.
Get Care
In the Homepage, tap the Get Care button.
Search by Name
Tap the Search by Name button.
View Recent Providers
If you have recently searched for a provider, the provider’s name displays below the Search field. To select a provider, tap the name of the provider.
Search for New Provider
If you want to search for a new provider by name, type the name of the provider in the search field [1]. Relevant results display in the page [2].
Note: A minimum of three characters must be entered in the search field.
Filter Results
If you want to filter search results, click the Filters link.
View Provider Results
For each provider result, the provider’s name (and image, if available) displays in the page, along with the provider’s appointment scheduling option.
View the details about the provider by tapping the provider’s name.
Note: When you tap a provider’s name, that provider will display in your list of recent search providers for the next time you need to search for a provider, even if you end up not scheduling an appointment with that provider.
Schedule Appointment
If a provider includes a Schedule by Phone button [1], tap the button to call the provider’s office and make an appointment.
If a provider supports online scheduling through the Tendo app, schedule an in-office appointment or schedule a virtual appointment by tapping the Schedule Now button [2].
