How do I make an in-app payment for an upcoming appointment?
You can pay copays in the app as part of pre-appointment tasks by:
From either section, when you click the circle next to View Copay, you are taken into the same payment flow.
You also may receive a pre-appointment notification with that encourages you to view your copay. Click the View Copay button to enter the same payment flow in the app.
The only charge that you can pay during the Copay payment process is the copay for your upcoming appointment. No past balances are displayed in this flow, which goes like this:
When you click on View Copay, you are taken to a Payment page that says you have a copay due. Click Review Now.
This takes you to a Review Balance page where you can see the amount of your copay. Click Next.
On the next screen, choose Make Payment Now to pay the copay in the app or choose Skip and pay in the office when you arrive for your appointment. Click Next.
If you chose Skip, you will exit this flow. If you choose to pay now, you will proceed through a series of payment screens.
You are asked to confirm your billing details. Click Confirm.
You can click Edit to edit your billing details before confirming. As part of this process, click the checkbox to save the card information if you want to use the same card to pay future copays. This will save you time in doing future pre-appointment tasks.
Click Next.
You will be taken to a page where you can click on the circle to the left of the credit card that you want to pay with.
If the card you want to pay with is not in the list, you can select the circle next to Add Card at the bottom of the screen, and then click Confirm. A New Card screen will appear in which you can add details about the new card.
To edit an existing card, click the circle next to Edit Wallet and click Confirm. Click on a circle next to a credit card to select that card, and click Edit Card at the bottom right.
Then change the details about that card on the screen that appears. Click Next.
On the Review Payment screen, review the payment information. Click Process Payment, and the payment is complete.
If the payment goes through, a Payment Successful screen appears, and a receipt for the payment will be sent to your email address.
The View Payment task will now gray out in the pre-appointment task list, and you will no longer be able to access that task.
