Patient Care Journey Desktop App - Changelog
This document is a comprehensive history of all changes to the Tendo app and ordered chronologically by release and date. Tendo releases are organized into a four-month structure grouped by key milestones, which may be released as individual monthly updates.
Details about each change are outlined in the update's accompanying document link, if applicable.
Releases are grouped by the following months, preceded by the last two digits of the year:

Appointments- Appointment times display correctly in the app. Previously appointment times returned incorrectly if an appointment was subject to daylight savings.
Lab Results- Blood pressure data displays as systolic/diastolic. Previously the data displayed as diastolic/systolic.
To Do List- Only outstanding orders are added to a patient's To Do list. Previously orders that had been completed were displaying as a To Do item.

Design Updates
Onboarding- In profile pages that include a multiple-option drop-down menu, the other option has been changed to not listed. Examples include gender identity, primary language, and pronouns. This update helps strengthen inclusion options within the app.
Bug Fixes
Care History- Lab results with multiple analytes display in their intended order. Previously the analytes would display in Tendo in random order.
Notifications- Updated phone numbers in the Profile Menu are applied immediately for notification distribution. Previously if a phone number was changed in the Profile Menu, notifications were still being sent to the previous number.

Design Updates
Care History
- Titles of order types no longer display with the order name. This change contributes to the simplification of the Care History page. For example, a lab result was previously titled Lab: [Lab Name]. With this update, the Lab: prefix has been omitted.
- When viewing the Visit Summary from the Care History page, tapping the Back link displays the same location in the previous page. This change allows the Visit Summaries page to be accessed more quickly, as previously the Back link always reloaded the Care History page—and the position of your page scrolling.
Lab Results
- The disclaimer for lab results has been updated for length, style, and message clarity. The background has changed from yellow to light gray, which improves color contrast.
- Orders include the provider’s location. This improvement comes from a newly supported API endpoint.
- Test results display the result date, which is the date the provider reviewed the results. If a provider reviews the results the same day as the order, the dates will be the same.
- The Collected date has been renamed to the Ordered date.
- Test Care History entries are organized by result date. This change clarifies the purpose of the date displayed in the Care History page for Test results. Previously the date indicated the order date for the test.
Profile Menu- When accessing a link from the User Profile Menu, tapping the Back link displays the Menu page. This feature simplifies the number of taps required to reopen the Menu, as previously using the Back link closed the Menu and reloaded the Homepage.
Visit Summary- The reason for a patient's visit displays as part of the visit summary. This improvement comes from a newly supported API endpoint.
Bug Fixes
Care History- Order titles display in title case instead of all caps.
Notifications- When an email or SMS notification was viewed, the Notification list in the Tendo app also marks the notification as read.
Orders- When an address for a referral or other order is updated, the updated address displays in the order page.

Design Updates
Care History
- In Care History pages, the Order icon has been updated as a heart icon. This change aligns the Order icon with the icon used in the Tendo iOS app.
Onboarding- For new users, the Onboarding Welcome email uses a patient’s preferred name if available in Athena. Otherwise the email defaults to the patient’s first name. This change adds additional personalization to the patient’s onboarding experience.
User Profile- When accessing the User Profile Menu and tapping the Back link, the Menu will open again. This feature simplifies the number of taps required to reopen the Menu, as previously using the Back link closed the Menu and reloaded the Homepage.
Visit Summary- The Details button has been removed from the Visit Summary page. This change simplifies the visit summary page and displays the majority of content within one location. All content that was previously in the Details page has been moved to the Visit Summary page.
Bug Fixes
Appointments- In the appointment confirmation page, the Back link directs back to the previous page. Previously the link provided no action.
Provider Details- If a provider’s Athena profile does not include a degree, no degree is displayed for the provider in the Tendo app. Previously the Degree field displayed false.
Visit Summary- Notes from a provider display exactly as added to an EMR. Any line breaks in the note are also supported.
