How do manage iOS permissions for the Tendo iOS app?
To fully use the Tendo for iOS app, you may choose to enable permissions within your iOS Settings.
Open Settings
On your iOS device, open the Settings app.
Open Tendo
In the application section, tap the Tendo app.
Access Calendar
Enabling the calendar allows Tendo to add appointments to the iOS Calendar app.
To remove permission for Tendo to add events to the calendar, turn this permission off.
Access Face ID
Enabling Face ID allows you to use the Tendo app with Face ID instead of your password. Once you log into the app using your username and password, any time the app requires reauthentication, it can use your Face ID.
To remove permission for Face ID, turn this permission off. Disabling this permission will require you to log into the Tendo app using your password.
Note: Face ID is also supported for Tendo iOS app logins via face recognition. However, this permission only manages Face ID authentication directly in the Tendo iOS app.
Access Siri and Search
Enabling Siri & Search allows the Tendo app to be part of Siri requests and in search results.
This permission includes multiple options that can be individually customized.
Access Notifications
Enabling Notifications allows Push notifications to display on your device. You can enable push notifications within the Tendo iOS app.
This permission includes multiple options that can be individually customized.
Access Cellular Data
Enabling cellular data allows you to access the Tendo app through a cellular network. If this permission is disabled, the Tendo app can only be used while connected to a Wifi network.
